New Mexico's 3rd Congressional District

The US House of Representatives is charged with regulating, writing bills, and creating the budget for approval by the senate.

Congressman Ben Ray Lujan has served four terms as a member of the United States House of Representatives. First elected to the seat in 2008, he has been in office for almost a decade. Before being elected to the House of Representatives, Congressman Lujan was a member of the New Mexico Public Relation Commission (PRC), being elected in 2004 and serving into 2008, and from 2005, to 2007 Ben Ray served as chairman of the New Mexico PRC. Congressman Lujan is a lifetime citizen of New Mexico, having attained a Bachelor's Degree from New Mexico's Highlands University, as well as attending the University of New Mexico. Ben Ray has a strong record of working to create jobs here in New Mexico. He supported the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, which saved jobs for thousands of New Mexicans. Congressman Lujan also cosponsored the Veterans Health Care Budget Reform and Transparency Act, which authorized congress to approve advanced appropriations to the Department of Veterans Affairs. 


Christopher Manning (Libertarian)

Chris Manning is a veteran of the United States Military, enlisting in 2006 into the Arizona National Guard, from where he would make the transition to become an infantryman in the United States Army, and went on to serve in Afghanistan until his return back to the united states in 2009. Chris continued his service in the military until his enlistment was up in 2012. From 2009 to 2011  Chris Manning attended Arizona State University, and received where he received his bachelor's degree. He worked as an insurance adjuster in New Jersey until 2014 when he moved back to town to help his families' business. Chris is a strict Libertarian, he believes in fiscal responsibility, a more limited government, and strong constitutional values. Chris was born and raised in Kirtland, New Mexico. 


Jerald Steve McFall (R)

Jerald Steve McFall has run in the past for New Mexico's 3rd Congressional seat. He has been a long time student at the University of New Mexico studying what is most important and essential to the success of himself, and those around him. Steve has been a lifelong citizen of New Mexico, and a longtime citizen of Angel Fire, having farmed the county, and worked at angel fire ski resort.
